Welcome to tryharold.com (“Harold”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of tryharold.com, including all associated services, software, applications, features, content, APIs, communications, and platforms operated by Harold (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.


1. Platform Access & Use

Harold provides AI-powered operational software, workflow infrastructure, document intelligence, reporting systems, automation tools, and related services for professional real estate workflows.

You agree to use the Platform only:

  • in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • for legitimate business purposes

  • in accordance with these Terms

You must not:

  • misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the Platform or infrastructure

  • attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, APIs, or data

  • reverse engineer, decompile, replicate, or copy any aspect of the Platform

  • upload malicious code, unlawful content, or harmful files

  • use the Platform for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity

  • attempt to scrape, extract, or systematically harvest Platform data

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform at any time for operational, legal, security, or maintenance reasons.


2. Intellectual Property Rights

All Platform content, technology, software, workflows, AI systems, branding, visual assets, designs, interfaces, reports, text, graphics, logos, functionality, and documentation are owned by or licensed to Harold and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing within these Terms grants you ownership rights to the Platform or its underlying technology.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, commercially exploit, or otherwise use any part of the Platform without prior written consent from Harold.


3. AI Outputs & Intelligence

Harold may generate AI-assisted summaries, reports, analyses, recommendations, workflows, or outputs based on uploaded data and user interactions.

While Harold is designed to improve operational efficiency and data handling, AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or incomplete interpretations.

Users remain solely responsible for:

  • reviewing all outputs

  • validating information

  • exercising professional judgement

  • ensuring regulatory, financial, legal, or operational compliance

Harold does not provide legal, planning, investment, accounting, surveying, valuation, or financial advice.


4. User Data

You retain ownership of any documents, files, communications, data, or materials uploaded to the Platform (“User Content”).

By uploading User Content, you grant Harold a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, analyse, transmit, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You confirm that:

  • you have the necessary rights to upload the content

  • the content does not infringe third-party rights

  • the content is lawful and non-malicious

We may remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms.


5. Security & Infrastructure

Harold is built using enterprise-grade infrastructure and security practices.

This includes:

  • encryption in transit and at rest

  • role-based access controls

  • isolated workspace environments

  • authentication and session protection

  • cloud-hosted infrastructure

  • monitored systems and audit logging

While we take reasonable steps to protect Platform data, no online system can guarantee absolute security.


6. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with or reference third-party software, APIs, websites, data providers, cloud services, or external platforms.

Harold is not responsible for:

  • third-party availability

  • third-party data accuracy

  • service interruptions

  • external platform policies or practices

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by separate terms and policies.


7. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harold disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • merchantability

  • fitness for a particular purpose

  • non-infringement

  • uninterrupted availability

  • data accuracy or completeness

We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for every workflow or use case.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harold and its affiliates, directors, employees, contractors, and licensors shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages

  • business interruption

  • loss of profits or revenue

  • loss of opportunity

  • loss of data

  • operational disruption

  • reliance on AI-generated outputs

This limitation applies regardless of legal theory, including contract, negligence, tort, or otherwise.


9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform immediately and without notice if:

  • you breach these Terms

  • we believe there is a security risk

  • required by law or regulation

  • the Platform is modified, discontinued, or unavailable

Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, disclaimers, and governing law shall survive termination.


10. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Harold processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK GDPR and data protection legislation.

11. Changes To Terms

We may update or revise these Terms periodically.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be amended accordingly.

Continued use of the Platform following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
